The letter from Emmett Dalton, dated Oct. 20, 1933, is typed in all caps, contains misspelled English, and is signed by Dalton. It concerns making a film from his 1931 book, "When the Daltons rode." The film was eventually made by Universal in 1940, with Randolph Scott. There are two letters from G.W. Lillie. A handwritten letter on Pawnee Bill's Buffalo Ranch stationary dated Sep. 12, 1929, proposes a project for "an epic picture of Oklahoma" starring Ken Maynard, with Pawnee Bill appearing in the last scenes. A second typewritten and signed letter on Pawnee Bill's Oldtown stationary, dated Aug. 31, 1931, offers Maynard assistance with his film depiction of Buffalo Bill Cody
