The histories of two internationally renowned string quartets found a meeting place at the home of Canadian musicians Harry and Frances Adaskin. And CBC TV producer Nancy Ryley was there to record it. Musical careers spanning two thirds of a century gathered in the Adaskin's living room. Germain Prévost was the only surviving member of the original Pro Arte Quartet.
